Earth Day With Melody Living Colorado Springs

​Our Colorado Springs senior living residents are inspired to celebrate Earth Day because of their beautiful surroundings in the Pikes Peak Region. Our senior living community offers warm hospitality, stunning spaces, beautiful gardens, and exquisite mountain views that promote the Eight Dimensions of Wellness.

Outdoor Living
The outdoor living space at Melody Living Colorado Springs was designed to promote social, physical, and environmental wellness for our senior residents. 

​Our property has endless beautifully landscaped walking paths with native flora and fauna. Our walking group enjoys the trails together on sunny days while chatting and working toward their fitness goals. Our patio area is full of comfortable seating areas for an afternoon meal, cocktail, or a quiet place to embrace a great book. The stunning view of the Rocky Mountains promotes environmental wellness for both our residents and staff. Our cozy fire pits are a favorite location to sit and enjoy the view.  Our residents also love to visit with their family and friends in front of the fire especially on cool summer nights.

Off-Site Adventures 
In order to provide our residents with a Life in Harmony, we plan monthly off-site adventures to create bonds and make memories within our community.
 
We celebrate Earth Day by enjoying our local parks, gardens, and outdoor tourist attractions including the Garden of the Gods. Residents enjoy official tours and learn about local plants, animals, and history too.
 
A favorite for our male residents is a fishing adventure. Our group of anglers love to sit back and fish for bass, catfish, trout, or bluegill. They talk for hours until someone gets a bite and then the competition begins for the biggest catch! The fisherman enjoy conversation and lots of sunshine too.

​Pikes Peak Region
It is impossible not to fall in love with nature when living in the Pikes Peak Region. The Garden of the Gods is a resident favorite at our senior living community. Our residents visit the park yearly to soak in the dramatic views of sandstone rock formations.
 
Earth Day is celebrated on Friday, April 22 this year and the theme is “Invest in our Planet.” Our residents invest in our planet by appreciating its beauty all around us here in Colorado Springs.
