It’s not every day we get the opportunity to snuggle with kittens, but when we do, it’s with the world’s cutest little felines! Our special visitors came to spend a little furry fun with our assisted living and memory support residents.
Smiles filled the room as these purr-fect little kittens made their way down the hallways giving residents in each neighborhood another wonderful reason to smile.
Moving into a senior living community, whether it be assisted living, memory support or even independent living, doesn’t meant that you have to sacrifice the things that make you happy or that your life even has to change. In fact, most of our residents have shared that their quality of life has vastly improved since moving into our retirement community.
Leading an active lifestyle at any age is important. For seniors, this is no exception. However, what our bodies may have been more comfortable achieving in our youth aren’t always suitable for our wiser bodies. This doesn’t mean, however, that older adults should avoid physical activities. Learning what is appropriate for all bodies is a crucial part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
