Melody Living Assisted Living and Memory Care in Colorado Springs is thrilled to welcome back Danielle, our dedicated and creative Life Enrichment Director, who has been an integral part of the Melody Living family since the very beginning. Known for her commitment to keeping residents engaged and uplifted, Danielle brings “smiles for miles” with her innovative activities and warm personality  A Colorado Springs native, Danielle has lived in the area for more than 31 years. She enjoys supporting local businesses and spending as much time as possible in the Colorado mountains. Alongside her boyfriend, Marcus, she can often be found hiking or running along scenic trails, taking in the beauty of her hometown. Danielle’s family-oriented nature shines brightly. She shares a close bond with her sister and brother and absolutely adores her two grand-nieces, Penelope and Nova. She loves celebrating Christmas traditions with her family.  With a passion for photography, Danielle owns a small business specializing in portrait and wedding photography. Her love for nature led her to climb five “14ers” and, in 2021, to honor her father by climbing Pikes Peak. She also says she has a healthy obsession with coffee and journals. As Life Enrichment Director, Danielle plans engaging events and activities to keep Melody Living residents active and connected, focusing on enhancing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Her goal is to build lasting relationships within the community, connecting with each resident, team member, and partner. Danielle’s unique approach combines her creativity and compassion, making a positive difference in the lives of the residents she serves.  Danielle’s journey to senior living is a personal one. After high school, she planned to enlist in the military but instead stayed back to be with her father as he dealt with COPD and emphysema. This experience led her to work in a Home Health company and eventually in Memory Care, where she found her calling in working with residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia. From that point, Danielle continued to serve seniors in various roles, always guided by her dedication to their well-being.
At Melody Living, the entire team is proud to have Danielle back, bringing her warmth, passion, and enthusiasm to the community each day. With a heart full of empathy and dedication to providing the best experiences for our residents, Danielle’s presence is truly invaluable.
