There are many assisted care facilities, but that is what they are, FACILITIES. Melody Assisted Living is a true home with a staff that actually cares for and loves the residents. My mother lived there for a couple years and was diagnosed with terminal cancer. In conjunction with the hospice care givers, her final days were pan free and she passed with her dignity and with those she loved. The nursing staff led by Monica and Robyn along with the rest of the staff took, best in class, care of my mother.
I can only hope that if you have elderly family members that need some help, you will choose Melody Assisted Living as the location for your loved one. They treat their residents as family and they work with true compassion in their hearts.

We recently lost our Father who was a resident at Melody Living. We could not have dreamed for a better experience than what he and we received from the team at Melody. When we were in the process of touring options for Dad, we came across Melody. Once we toured the facility and met the staff, it was abundantly clear that Melody stood out in so many ways above any and all other options. From the admissions team, front desk, maintenance and the entire care team, Melody truly cares about their residents and families. I did not regret my choice. The facility is beautiful, the nursing staff were great and the support staff were helpful in dealing with any changes that were needed.

My parents had been in a high quality senior care facility in Chicago, but after my father's death we wanted my mother to be closer to us. She suffered from a progressive dementia and needed care on virtually every level. We heard about Melody Living and decided to investigate. Our biggest concern was that we wanted her care to be as good as her former residence. Upon visiting the facility we found it to be a beautiful and functional design while emphasizing comfort and safety for the residents. After interviewing management and observing activities and daily life there, we decided to give it a try. On the very first day, we started to feel that we had made a good decision. That feeling grew stronger with each day thereafter. We realized that Melody Living was not simply as good as her former residence, it was measurably better. I visited my mother virtually every day and saw how the staff and management worked with her in the most caring fashion. She was not an easy case, as she had some behavioral difficulties related to her dementia. But rather than pushing the problems off on the family or ignoring the problems, management at Melody Living sought innovative approaches to solving or avoiding the problems and were ultimately successful. The result was a marked improvement in my mother's quality of life during her last months. During my daily visits in the 8 months of my mother's residence there was not a single incident which caused me concern and there were countless which which put me at ease regarding her care. I simply can not give high enough praise to this place. It is well managed from the top all the way down.

I do not feel these reviews reflect an accurate picture of the team at Melody Living. Monica is a very caring and kind individual, as is the Director Chia. Monica holds the staff accountable and takes a lot of pride in making sure those who are admitted to Melody Living receive the best care. She goes out of her way day or night to communicate with families. It is apparent that Sandra Lynch is upset, and I am sure disappointed that her family member was declined admission. Not everyone is fit for assisted living or memory care. Instead of bad-mouthing staff members accept the information however difficult it may be. If a facility says no to admitting someone it is for a reason. Their family should be understanding and move on with their search. Harassing staff members because a family is told no to admission is uncalled for and won’t change the outcome that Melody Living cannot meet your mother’s needs. Sandra Lynch your family member doesn’t even live there. You have no basis for your judgements. I encourage anyone to speak to those who have family that reside at Melody Living to get a firsthand review.

My father has settled in with the help of the wonderful staff at Melody Living. All the staff are professional and nice. Lisa at the front desk is so helpful and nice. The cleaning staff were so kind when my dad put a piece of cake in his shirt pocket, don’t ask…the cleaning staff came into his room and helped us clean up the mess. The kitchen staff work so hard, how they provide such good food is beyond me. If you need an assistant living place I highly recommend Melody Living.

My mother moved into Melody shortly after the facility opened in 2020. From the day she moved in, she was treated with care, respect and compassion by all of the wonderful staff. She felt very safe in her apartment, most of the time leaving the door open and occasionally receiving a visitor, who just stopped by to say "Hi!" The facility is expertly decorated, has many gathering spaces and is also clean and quiet. Melody is definitely a place that your loved one could move in and feel immediately "at home."

Amanda at Melody Living was knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful on our tour. The entire community was stylish, clean, and very warm. I would highly recommend a visit there if you're considering assisted living!

Nathalia is hands down the best tour guide/marketing rep I have ever met (Sebastian is a lose second over at Independent Living). I have plenty of experience shopping for assisted/independent living for parents. I learned the lingo and what to expect when I shopped for my dad… independent living first, then assisted living then funeral. I recently started shopping for my mother in law, P.F. Who lives with me and her daughter. PF lived alone on a mountain side until she totaled her car. She tried to move home months later, but contracted COVID immediately. Hospital, Rehab, back to my basement. She cannot live alone. She has worn her daughter out completely. I know the signs. Time for a place to park mom to everyone’s benefit. I had one hour. I know the lingo and basics. Nathalia gave me a complete info package including all pricing. Toured the Assisted Living common areas and rooms appropriate for my MIL. The place is gorgeous. The staff goes above and beyond. I questioned everyone I met. Long tenured staff. Happy to work here and it shows. Not cheap, but certainly in line with my predictions for this level of care. Penrose St. Francis Hospital across the street. Walmart across the other street. Woodmen Road/Powers Blvd intersection. Everything included you could reasonably expect. Cell phone/beauty salon extra. 24hr on site RN. Secure, safe, warm, homey, views of the Rockies and Pikes Peak. Parking! The list goes on. My search is over. When mom is ready, this is her new home. She toured with me a few days later and she loves it. Now she has a viable option when she and her daughter can’t take each other anymore. Not funny, just the emotional reality of taking care of your aging parent when nobody else around to help. Melody Living is here to help.

Natalie took out time on a Friday at 4pm to make sure we had a full introduction to the community and facility. Two month in and mom is happy with each visit. Her attention to details and communication are the primanry reason that made this our community for mom of choice!

I recently contracted with Melody Living for my elderly parent. I had the best experience working with Sales Coordinator, Nathalia. She toured the facility with me and explained how the process worked. She is super friendly and professional, and kept me advised throughout the application and leasing process. It's a beautiful facility and all the staff members I've met have been great. I wish I could live there!
We ran into some complications just prior to move-in. Nathalia contacted me and advised that mom's room was painted, and the carpet was due to be replaced, but carpet layer was a no-show! He was completely unreachable and simply didn't show up, even though the job as scheduled well in-advance! It was imperative that I get my mom loaded in on that specific day as I had booked the truck and couldn't take additional time off. In addition, bad weather was coming in. I was up against a wall. Nathalia took personal responsibility and kicked in to high gear! She went way above and beyond, and used her own personal contacts (Jason), to get the old carpet ripped out, well after hours the night prior, and installed early the next day, just so I could move my mom's stuff in. She even arranged for the movers to stage the furniture on the same floor, until the carpet was done. After installation, she even cleaned the room with another staff member (Sharon), who also wanted to help get it done. Great Team! She even helped me move the furniture into the room and set it up!! I was overwhelmed by her dedication, determination, personal sacrifice (stress and long hours), just to help me take care of my mom!!
I won't forget it! So far Melody Living has been fantastic, and I would refer anyone to Nathalia directly! She should get a huge raise...today!

Melody Living has definitely been the best choice for our situation! My Grandpa is fitting right in and seems much happier and healthier here than he’s been at other facilities in town. The staff have all been kind and super attentive! Nathalia made our move so easy, and I love that she genuinely cares about the residents and their families!! Everyone on staff has made an effort to get to know my Grandpa and me, and they even seem happy to answer my constant questions. The facility itself is bright and warm, kept very clean, and feels safe and secure while still being easy for residents and loved ones to get in and out. Chef Michael meets weekly with the residents to make sure they’re happy with their food options, and the meals are always delicious! A nurse is in the building 24-7 in addition to loads of care staff. This is unique to this facility, as most assisted living facilities don’t have a nurse in the building at all hours of the day. I’m so glad we happened upon such a great place and great people to help care for my Grandpa!!

I am a home health care provider who visits many assisted living facilities in the Springs. Melody living is by far the best staffed, most caring, most organized building I go to. Their staff from the director to nurses to dining to marketing to reception all know every resident with detail and very genuinely care about their well being. All of my patients love it there and it is my first recommendation to any of my patients looking to transition to assisted or independent living from home. (Plus the food is restaurant level delicious!)

Melody Living is a beautiful building with so many positives. The staff are top notch and care so much for the residents. They treat them as if they are family. This should definitely be a place in which you can feel comfortable with their care. The building is decorated beautifully which makes everyone feel at home.

Finding ourselves in a desperate situation looking for assisted living for a loved one, Melody Living came through; five stars and more!!! I was in panic mode visiting places, until I arrived at Melody. Kelly was so reassuring, I left my meeting confident I was in the right place. Vi and Marianne carried on that friendly and caring attitude. Thanks to the whole team for a job so well done.

We recently has the opportunity to tour Melody Living with my 93 year old mother and we were very impressed. Mom is sharp as a tack mentally and has been living independently. She is a former Registered Nurse who has good knowledge of medical, and my wife is currently a Registered Nurse as well. Mom was concerned that an assisted living environment would have many people in wheel chairs who just slept all day and didn't stay active. As it turns out, Kelly, who is an excellent sales director for this facility, really helped to change Mom's mind about assisted living as we asked questions and toured the building. Mom saw current residents who were happy and enjoying life and we could see that the staff we met really cared for their residents. Kelly answered all of our questions with honesty and candidness and spent extra time with Mom reviewing the various apartments that were available which all looked very nice and well laid out. We also had a chance to enjoy lunch and the food was very good. The Director of foodservice came out and spoke with us and we could see that he really enjoyed his job and took pride in providing quality food that was very tasty. We also met with the Director of Wellness who has a passion for helping the residents to live lives that are happy and fulfilled. Mom felt very good about Melody Living, but she is not quite ready to leave her independent lifestyle, but when she is, we will definitely look at Melody Living again. Our opinion is that if you are looking for a home for a loved one who needs a little extra help and a place that will take very good care of them, you probably should check out Melody living on your short list of options.

Recently we took a tour of Melody Living in Lake in the Hills for a place for my mom. We met with the Director of Sales, Kelly, and also Katherine. Their compassion, enthusiasm and information about Melody Living made us feel comfortable and at ease while trying to make a huge decision in a life changing environment for my mom. Melody Living is a beautiful community with lots to offer to the residents. Their Memory Care unit is about giving each and every resident the best care while keeping them socially and mentally active and out of their rooms. This was very important to me, especially through the Covid pandemic. Everyone is very engaging, caring, friendly and passionate about their jobs from the front desk and staff to the management. They are just a phone call away. No phone call goes unanswered which is extremely important during Covid. Their visitation room was great and very helpful. To be able to see my mom through a glass window and speak with her was so important, I knew she was doing fine and adjusting to her new home. We were able to celebrate mom’s 90th birthday together which was extremely important to us. I can’t say enough about Melody Living; they made a stressful time such a smooth transition for our family! I know in my heart that we have found a community that is perfect for mom. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Kelly, Katherine and the staff.

My Mom moved in this Saturday and there are not enough words to say how wonderful everything about Melody Living is. The Executive Director, Maria, has put together a team second to none. Extremely professional and experienced, kind and compassionate, plus full of energy and ideas to care for the residents. These people know what they are doing and how to care for the seniors. We know Mom is safe and that's so important! Also have to say the food is excellent; the the buildings and rooms are beautiful.
