Celebrating birthdays at Melody Living

We had a blast celebrating all the July birthdays this month! What a fun weekend it was. Each month we work together with the residents to develop themes and this month’s theme was Christmas in July. We couldn’t have picked a better idea ourselves!

With the heat rising outside, it sure was a nice way to cool down indoors. The fun started with some interactive crafts, sugar cookie decorating and some good old-fashioned Christmas movies. 

​Our staff enjoyed celebrating with residents and getting cozy by our indoor fireplace. It might be hot outside, be we make sure that while residents are indoors the temperature is a safe and comfortable level.
 
Residents got really creative with some beautifully decorated paper ornaments and the sugar cookies were a delicious treat to enjoy for all! Did you know that our assisted living and memory support community offers dietary-conscious options for residents who may need a special diet?       
 
We also enjoyed singing “Happy Birthday” to any residents who had July birthdays as a way to tie the weekend all together. It’s the little things that matter, and it’s these small details that we love paying attention to so that this senior living community creates a Life in Harmony for all.
