Every second matters in the event of an emergency and having the proper care on the ready is critical.

​Fortunately, most incidents we’ve experienced can be cared for on-site without the need for hospital transport, which has been so important during this past year. This on-site support means we’re
better able to provide comfort to a resident in their own home and reduce the need for them to enter a hospital which also reduces a risk of COVID-19 exposure.

Resident monitoring for peace of mind
Credential pendants are used to always ensure the safety and overall wellness of our residents. These pendants allow our care team the ability to see if a resident has entered or left their apartment home and what doors they’ve accessed. If your loved one hasn’t left their apartment, we make it a point to check-in to ensure everything is okay. Credential pendants are a safeguard for residents and their loved ones that our team review regularly throughout the day.
 
Easy and secure electronic health care records
Our electronic health care record and call system track the care and services of each of our senior living residents electronically. This allows us to integrate all health functions seamlessly and discretely with our staff care coordinators, primary care physicians, and acute care providers year-round.
 
The benefit of being able to see all information in one place is that our team can review a complete and full timeline of wellness reports for each resident. This is helpful information to us we monitor their safety and provide programs and services that encourage them to enjoy a Life in Harmony. Our team integrates this with the electronic health records to flag emerging issues that may arise so that your loved one’s present and future health and well-being remain our top priority and focus.
 
It’s important to know that all care and services are monitored and managed by a team of trained professionals and that all our digital records meet stringent HIPAA privacy standards. This is crucial as our team also can virtually connect with residents’ physicians offsite, as needed. 

​Family visitation room
At Melody Living, residents come first. Therefore, we built a fully secure and comfortable family visitation room in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
This room offers a safe space for residents and their visiting loved ones to connect safely throughout the year. Residents and their families are welcome to enjoy the space whenever they choose and can enjoy a warm space, clear visitation safety glass, easy to hear speaker system and comfortable seating.
 
The room was integrated into the design of our
community in 2020 to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, guests, and staff and continues to serve as a safe and comfortable space for visiting loved ones.
