The Value of Family at Melody Living

Melody Living offers a vast variety of options to get the community active and involved in fun activities. One of our favorites every month is our Heirloom meal! Melody Living Heirloom recipes are a family recipe featured by one of our residents that is then recreated by our dining staff and shared with the whole community to enjoy.
 
The resident also has a display of pictures set up in the dining room, a special menu program with the recipe being featured and a story about their family. Our latest featured Heirloom meal was of a delicious meatloaf with sautéed onions, peppers and bacon brought to us by Jeanette!

Jeanette is a mother of four and a homemaker. When asked about her favorite recipe and family memories, she chose to share her tried-and-true meatloaf. Jeanette expressed that her love for making dinner for her family and having the chance to sit down with them to look at the blessings of life, was one of her favorite memories.
 
The menu also included green beans with sautéed ham and onions, homemade buttered mashed potatoes and for dessert, we enjoyed a homemade chocolate pudding – yum!
