Often times when considering moving into an assisted living and memory care community, the question of community life comes into conversation. When it comes to our senior retirement homes, we believe that a rich community life is essential for leading a Life in Harmony. Our Community Life Director, Danielle, works directly with the residents themselves to identify what programs they’re interested in or passionate about and puts them together so that all residents can enjoy participating in activities that are of interest to them.
 
​Studies show that when people engage in activities they value, they are not only partaking in something they enjoy but the brain becomes stimulated, releasing endorphins and other beneficial hormones that ultimately can reduce stress, improve cognitive function, lessen anxiety and improve overall well-being.

The dining experience

​We are proud of the culinary team at Melody Living Colorado Springs. All of our meals are prepared by an onsite Chef with menu items that could be found at any top-notch restaurant around town. Using freshly sourced ingredients all of our menu items are carefully crafted with resident wellness in mind.
 
Our dining team’s experienced staff understand the importance of dietary restrictions and are always happy and willing to assist any of our guests with their specific food needs. Whether a resident is opting for a lower calorie meal, has diabetes, is vegetarian or a vegan, or requires a strict gluten-free diet, we are here to help ensure they can enjoy a safe and delicious dining experience every day!
